The blits platform has two different states for your activated flows; testing and production.
If your flow is activated to testing, this flow is available for all the test channels (internal test chat & external test link).
If your flow is activated to production, this flow is available for all the channels connected to your bot (web widgets, Alexa, Teams, etc.)
The common use of this function is to see your production version as the version visible for your users/customers. The testing version is visible only for you, your organization or anyone you've shared the public testlink with.
If you press the save icon a new version of your intent flow is saved. A new version is not automatically activated into testing or production.
By clicking the purple button, the intent flow you're building, (or a historical flow), can be sent into testing or production. You can choose to activate only this intent flow or all intent flows of your bots.
If you wish to automatically activate your intent flows to the testing environment, you can enable the 'Auto-activate' toggle under the save button. If this toggle is enabled, an intent flow is automatically activated to the testing environment once a new version is saved.
The platform supports auto-saving ever 30 seconds. This means if you close your browser, the platform remembers the last version. However, don't forget to save important progress regularly.
The following colors are used to define different versions:
purple is the selected version
dark blue is a successful saved version
grey is an auto saved version
red is a version that contains errors
By default, the platform stores the last 10 version of your flow. If required, through contacting us you can access up until the 200 last versions of your flow.
